part 2, Utah

The Utah part of our vacation was filled with family, fun, and shopping! We stayed at Mark and Karen's lovely house and the Mountainside Marriott in Park City, UT. Both were luxurious accomodations. My lovely sister Karen took us to Tai Pan Trading, Rodworks, and Interior Elements. They are three "musts" everytime we go to Utah. Karen spoiled us with her culinary expertise-- with roast (and her best gravy ever), amazing gingersnaps, pancakes, and french toast. Hallie was in heaven because she was reunited with her cousin (and idol) Amanda. When we were in Utah, Chris bought me the book, Breaking Dawn. Thank goodness! That is what a bunch of my cousins and every three women at the pool in Park City were reading! One day after shopping with Karen and the kids Chris, Hallie, and I had Chili's for lunch. It is so fun to be away on vacation and out to eat!

While we were at Mark and Karen's we were reunited with my brother John who returned from his two-year service in the Washington, Kennewich mission. He is the same old John-- which is why we love him so much. He is super unique and super fun! Are you a part of the John fan club? Needless to say it was so great to have all my parents children, their spouses, and their grandchildren in one place.

On Sunday, Uncle Rich and Aunt Nancy had us over to their house for Sunday lunch. It was so good to be back with my cousins again. And to spend time with my Grandma Skaggs. I am used to having her so close by my entire life. I sure miss her smiles and hugs-- not to mention the pleasure of her rolls!
