five months old

Claire is five months old and cute as can be. Here is what Claire has been up to:

teething- no teeth yet but lots of drooling and chewing (and crying)

talking- she has discovered how to make "ka" and "ga" sounds and is babbling more in general

rolling- she is rolling tummy to back and started back to tummy yesterday

sitting- this is still more like falling but we are practicing sitting up and she can last up to four seconds

eating- we just started multi-grain cereal, she still does the infant tongue thrust sometimes but she is enjoying smacking

playing- Claire and I have this game where she reaches up and grabs her doll and I clap for her, it's darling because as soon as she grabs it she looks up and smiles with big eyes waiting for her applause

sleeping- she still wakes up around 3 am but (most of the time) only cries for a few moments and then falls back asleep, also, she has been sleeping on daddy's shoulder recently (I'm jealous-- she never falls asleep for me)

We sure love you, Claire!

P.S. My friend Liz made tutus for both my girls-- I love them!!
