pictures to remember them by

Confession 1: Chris and I just got back from a cruise!

It was relaxing, rejuvinating, and just plain heavenly.

Confession 2: We missed our kids so much!

One of our rituals throughout the day was to pull out our camera

and look through photos of the girls.

Here are some of the very pictures we gazed at with adoration . . .

 along with some of the things we said. 

"Look at Claire's little munchkin face!  She's such a little person!"

"Look at the ways he looks at her big sister.  She is so proud of her."

"Hallie is looking more and more grown up."

We loved these giddy faces on Hallie.

When they are looking down they are nearly identical.

But there are the subtle difference when the look up -- like nose and eye shape.

There is one of those adoring looks again.  Sigh!

Thank goodness for digital cameras and thank goodness for such darling girls to miss while we were away.
