Welcome to play time with Hallie!
I wanted to give you a peak of what Hallie does during play time. It is usually much messier and involves more singing. Hallie loves to experiment with rhythm and melody in her songs. Although she is only kneeling in this picture, her new favorite method of play is to pull herself to standing and throw down the books from her second shelf. Halllie can "read" to us. She points at the pictures and mumbles and gurgles in a sing-song pattern. Today while in our bedroom she pointed to her daddy in our family picture, said "Daddy," and then waved while saying "Hi, Daddy!" Of course, it sounded more like "Hiiiii-eeeee Daaaa-daaaa-eeeeee!"
