My cousin Haylee "tagged" me. The purpose of this post is to write six little-known facts about yourself.

1. I could have studied so many subjects in college and would have been just as happy as I am with my degree in English. Some of my other coveted majors are: Broadcast Journalism (I still get the itch to do the evening news), History, Interior Design, Humanities, and Child Development (although this was basically my minor). Even now, as I contemplate what I want to do for my Master's Degree (I plan on doing one for the fun of it-- and because my Mom has a Masters. What can I say, we love education in my family?!) I am really stuck between Marriage and Family Therapy, Children's Literature, or Education. Every once and awhile I think I could go back to school to be a nurse too. It makes life fun when you like so many things. It is too hard to become bored.
2. When I was little I thought there was a chance I could be "discovered." So I sang "Part of Your World" in my backyard for hours on many days. I was just waiting for a neighbor to overhear and get me an agent.
3. When I was a Senior in High School I won a MACY award for Best Actress in a High School play for Southern California. I played an aging drunken British sleuth. I really miss performing. I need to start community theater in the next couple years because the stage is calling me. :)
4. Before I knew I was having a girl, I was convinced Hallie was a boy. When the ultrasound revealed I was having a girl I felt a little lost for a couple days (as most of you know I just have three awesome brothers). Now, I would PAY to have another little girl just like Hallie! I love being the Mom to a daughter.
5. As a starry-eyed junior high student I thought all my dreams would come true if I was a "Senior Favorite" or was crowned Queen at a dance in High School. I later was Junior Prom Princess, Winter Formal Queen, and "Most Talented" of my Senior class. And life goes on and people could care less (including myself now)! They aren't exactly things you put on your résumé.
6. I have a goal to always have a bookmark in a book. This means I am reading everyday. I love measuring my life in books.
There you have it.
I technically should "tag" six people to do this exercise. I won't. I invite everyone to do it. Try it-- it is cathartic and quite pleasing.
