Saturday morning marked three weeks of life in the world for our little baby. Chris and I love the complete feeling we have with this new little one in our lives. We get a kick out of calling our girls "#1" and "#2." It makes it easier to keep track of them since I am always trying to call Claire "Hallie" anyhow.
For awhile, Hallie was protesting when she heard me call the baby Claire Caron. "She's not Caron!" Hallie would say, "She's Claire Bell!" But, on Saturday I overheard her talking to the baby and calling her Claire Caron. So, apparently Hallie approves now.
Claire is smiling now. Hands down, Hallie is the one who garners the most smiles. But, Claire was sweet enough to give us a sample of smiles while I snapped her "three week pictures" on Saturday afternoon.
I love how new babies can sometimes look like old men, yet still be so adorable. Enjoy . . .

She really is so beautiful! What a great smile already!!!
Ooooo, I love the ones where she's smiling!! So adorable. Brooklyn and Aubrey had that exact same sleeper - and she is making me get very baby hungry. Oh no.
I just want to squish her! I can't beleive you have her smiling already.
We call our kids #1 and #2 as well! So funny. Kind of like Thing 1 and Thing 2. I still have to meet this little girl! Give me a call and let me know when's a good time for you, okay?
Thanks for the adorable pictures Michelle. This Grandma was very hungry for baby pictures. It is torture to be away from you all. I would love to escape to Colorado Springs again. I am going to have Dad bring his laptop when we visit Grandma so she can admire the pictures too!
Isn't she adorable! She is so beautiful and so happy. Happy Mother's Day!
So sorry to hear about your grandmother, I do hope she is doing better.
She is sooo beautiful Michelle! What a joy. I think a second child grows twice as fast as the first, so hold on tight while she's tiny!
