I find the following story simultaneously hilarious and horrifying:
Hallie and I were sewing a quilt for Claire this afternoon. As I was buzzing through a particularly thick square, the tension snapped the thread to my bobbin. Sometimes this really bothers me. I was in a great mood though so I just said "uh-oh." Then came the proof that I was not always in a good mood when that happens. "Is that dang-it, Mommy?" Hallie asked with concern. "Is that thing a CRAP, Mommy?"
BUSTED!!!
So apparently while Hallie and I have sewing lessons in the future, I need to practice anger management.
Please excuse me while I crawl into a corner and hide.

Oh, SO cute... but yes, sad. We try so hard to be good... why can't we always be!?? At least in front of them? I love ya, and you know we've ALL been there.
I love this story! It's happened to me so many times. And sorry for never commenting. I always read your blog (and love it!), but I am a horrible commenter.
Oh man! I say those words too. I better work on that. I don't want Hank saying that to me!
Hahahahahaha!
so cute and funny how hallie says it !!! it's better than her saying a bad word :)
Hahahaha! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who has moments like that... Ivy gets me when I'm driving- she'll get angry at the other cars. Eek!!
That is seriously funny and sounds exactly like something that would happen at my house!!
