Chris and I were talking last night about how much faster Grant's first year went.
And then I realized how much faster (literally) it really went.
While Hallie was content to sit and play with one toy.
And Claire was content to sit and be held.
Grant is all about moving, going, and exploring!
He is our busy boy!
Some of his busy boy tricks:
- picking lazily at the food on his tray
- nonchalantly dropping food off his tray, one piece at a time, watching it drop
- sliding is hands back and forth to send a spray of food flying all at once
- seizing the opportunity to pop every piece of floor food into his mouth before Mommy sweeps
- turning off the computer while Mom is in the middle of typing
- sneaking into the bathroom to pull the screw cover off the bottom of the toilets
- speed crawling to every night light to pull it out of the wall
- taking Daddy's battery-operated alarm clock and hiding so Dad can't find it at night
- pulling the base board door stops out (These are screwed in! He strips the screws!)
We love our busy boy!
And we even love his shenanigans because they remind us he is here.

He is adorable Michelle! Aren't boys so fun? Glad you are enjoying him. It really only gets better. They are rambunctious and full of energy, but SO much fun!
Love it!! After 2 girls, I thought babies were babies, but I was wrong. Boys are SO busy!! And all the above list applies, except for instead of the screw cover, my boy grabs the plunger and RUNS. Fantastic.
