Taking time out from our busy weeks to really focus on family and our spiritual goals - that's a challenge. But one we were committed to accomplishing yesterday. So, on a bustling Tuesday afternoon, and despite the fact that Chris was rear-ended on the way home from work, we loaded up the car and headed as a family to a very special place.
Chris headed in for a session and I stayed with these bundles of energy. Special instructions: feed them dinner at Café Rio and dessert at Krispy Kreme for maximum energy effect.
Even though there was two-plus hours of round trip driving and traffic-filled streets, our little trip was set apart. The kids felt it and we felt it and we know our Heavenly Father felt it - that above all our commitment is family, love, and Him.
