August 4 marked our seventh wedding anniversary! On our actual anniversary we enjoyed my family reunion. But three days later Chris and I enjoyed a lovely anniversary date. We started in Temple Square which is where Chris proposed in front of the Salt Lake Temple seven years ago in April. We visited all the visitor's centers along with the Museum of Church History. For dinner, we went to our favorite Salt Lake restaurant The Rodizio Grill at Trolley Square. We topped off our date with a visit to IKEA. I miss living next to IKEA. We were able to find some fun deals as usual.

In honor of our seven years I want to highlight seven reasons why we are perfect for each other.

1.) We are kids at heart.

2.) We could live anywhere, as long as we have each other.

3.) Our favorite thing to do is spend time together-- which is one of the reasons we chose teaching for Chris' profession.

4.) We can harmonize well together when we sing.

5.) Our hands are the perfect fit. It is like a puzzle piece that feels perfectly snug.

6.) We like the same things-- the same kinds of movies, music, places, and foods.

7.) After seven years it still hasn't gotten old. The love hasn't worn out. It continues to grow.
